The management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and the Dutch company TenneT made in 2014 a joint investment in the DolWin3 offshore grid connection. After the completion in 2017 the connection hast transmitted electricity to the mainland from a number of wind farms in the German North Sea. The investment via Copenhagen Infrastructure I is worth EUR 384m. DolWin3 has a total capacity of 900 MW.
