PensionDanmark's grievance mechanism
As a responsible investor, PensionDanmark respects internationally recognized human rights.
PensionDanmark has therefore established this grievance mechanism, which is aimed at individuals and communities who may be (or are at risk of being) subjected to adverse impacts on human rights.
Who can use the grievance mechanism? And what can one file a complaint about?
Individuals who believe they are (or are at risk of being) subjected to an adverse impact on human rights, which PensionDanmark has either caused, contributed to, or is directly linked to through PensionDanmark's business relationships, can use the grievance mechanism.
How do I file a complaint?
You can submit a complaint by writing to concerns@pension.dk.
What happens after I file a complaint?
When PensionDanmark receives your complaint, we will conduct an initial screening to determine if the matter you are complaining about falls within the scope of the grievance mechanism.
If PensionDanmark determines that your complaint falls outside the scope of the grievance mechanism, you will receive a notice as soon as possible informing you that your complaint has been rejected. The rejection will include a reason.
If PensionDanmark determines that your complaint falls within the scope of the grievance mechanism, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt as soon as possible, along with information about the next steps in the process.
PensionDanmark will investigate the adverse impact your complaint concerns, as well as PensionDanmark's involvement.
You will be regularly updated on the progress of the case.
When PensionDanmark determines that the case has been sufficiently clarified, we will notify you of the outcome.
