    At the 2016 Summit in The Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) PensionDanmark will highlight, that the realization of UNs new Sustainable Development Goals and the Climate Agreement reached in Paris demands very large private investments. The Danish model with the Danish Climate Investment Fund, where public aid funds are working together with private pension funds, is the way ahead. There are great export and investment opportunities for Danish companies and pension funds.

    Danish joint venture officially opens the Brigg Renewable Energy Plant

    Today, the Brigg Renewable Energy Plant was officially opened by Cllr. Trevor Foster, North Lincolnshire Mayor, in the presence of local, national and European dignitaries. The renewable energy plant, which is the largest dedicated straw fired biomass plant in the UK, generates 40MW of electricity every hour, which is enough to supply 75,000 homes and save over 250,000 tons of CO2 every year.
