PensionDanmark invests in the Comwell-hotel in Roskilde

Investing DKK 267m in the Comwell-hotel in Roskilde, PensionDanmark can add the first hotel property to its portfolio.

For the first time, PensionDanmark invests in at hotel property. It is the Comwell Hotel in Roskilde situated 37 km vest of Copenhagen.

The invested capital is DKK 267m and the seller is AKF Corporation.

Earlier the property accommodated Roskilde Folk School, but in 2002 it was converted and refurbished to a hotel with conference facilities. Today Comwell Roskilde has 159 rooms plus 28 meeting and conference rooms. The hotel covers an area of 12,500 square metres.

"We are very pleased with our investment, which is our first hotel property. Comwell has an economically consolidated tenant, and the magnificent view of Roskilde Fjord ensures this modern hotel a desirable location for both tourists and conference guests. Therefore the investment will secure our members a good and stable return for the years to come,” says CEO Torben Möger Pedersen, PensionDanmark.

“Through many years we have had a good corporation with Comwell regarding the development of the property benefitting the guests. And we are looking forward to entrust the property to PensionDanmark,” says CEO Ino Dimsits, AKF Corporation.

PensionDanmark holds a property portfolio of DKK 16bn spread over properties in business, housing, retail and Public Private Partnerships.
