PensionDanmark and ATP both won acknowledgement at the highest level Tuesday night in Tivoli Congress Center. Both Danish pension funds won the country award for Denmark when IPE Awards 2019 was held in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The jury of the largest annual gathering for the European pension industry stated that PensionDanmark shared the prize with ATP on the behalf of ambitious efforts to set new standards for ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) in the pension industry:
“PensionDanmark is an industry leader on ESG and a true champion of environmental and social protection”.
For CEO of PensionDanmark Torben Möger Pedersen the prize is a recognition of something even more crucial:
”The prize is basically an acknowledgement of PensionDanmark’s ability - not only to ensure that 750.000 members get the very most out of their savings – but at the same time achieve to make the savings into a driving factor that by fact contributes to making this planet a better place to live.”
The latest acknowledgement of PensionDanmark as a European industry leader is underlined by a line of prizes won at the IPE Awards since 2012:
