It was international recognition at high level when PensionDanmark won one of the top awards at the IPE Real Estate Global Conference & Awards 2020 on Thursday af-ternoon. For the second year running, the jury awarded PensionDanmark Real Asset & Infrastructure Investor of the Year for a long and clear record of accomplishment and for being on the forefront of new opportunities within real estate and infrastructure.
The jury stated: “PensionDanmark has long been the frontrunner and thought leader in real assets, demonstrating leadership by investing in new initiatives and im-plementing sustainable solutions.”
”Our overriding priority is to ensure robust and stable long-term pension savings for our 754,000 members. Therefore, the international recognition of our accomplished investment team for their long term succesful investments in infrastructure a most welcome pat on the back,” says PensionDanmark’s CEO Torben Möger Pedersen.
At the award ceromony on Wednesday PensionDanmarks real estate team also won an award for best Alternatives Strategy. The recognition was based on the clear de-scription of our strategy and success of securing good returns through the develop-ment of fixed cost-effective concepts for climate friendly, socially sustainable, innovative and community oriented homes for niche segments such as students and 50+ year-olds.
