Denmark’s largest labour market pension fund was highlighted when European Pension Awards 2022 celebrated excellence in European pension provision Thursday night in London.
PensionDanmark was awarded as ’ESG/SRI Provider of the Year’ for the efforts to fully integrate social and sustainable responsibility in investments. A recognition of PensionDanmark’s approach to discover and evolve focus on how environmental, social and governance (ESG) affect the portfolios and how the portfolios impact the planet and society.
”We take the award as a recognition of the fact that PensionDanmark’s work with responsible and sustainable investments in renewable energy, green infrastructure, sustainable property - and companies that live up to their corporate social responsibility – has accomplished to set new and higher standards, “ says CEO of PensionDanmark, Torben Möger Pedersen and continues:

In the past years PensionDanmark has set new standards in measuring impacts as well as the transparency in inclusion and exclusion decisions. PensionDanmark was also the first Danish pension fund to have their ESG figures included in the independent auditors’ report.
The European Pensions Awards were launched to give recognition to and honour the investment firms, consultancies and pension providers across Europe that have set the professional standards to best serve European pension funds over the past year.
